When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth — we never store plaintext passwords). If you sign up through a referral link, we record the referring user's identifier to credit referral bonuses.
If you choose to connect a third-party content platform (YouTube, Twitch, X/Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook), we collect and store OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, your platform username, and publicly available metrics such as follower count, subscriber count, and live viewer count. This data is used solely to compute your Heat Score and power market resolution. It is never shared with other users, never used for advertising, and never sold. You may disconnect any platform at any time from your profile settings, which permanently deletes the associated tokens and metrics from our systems.
We collect records of actions you take within the Service, including bets placed, markets created, token transactions (purchases, rewards, promotions, referral bonuses), promotions applied, badges earned, challenge progress, and streaks. This data is essential to the operation of the platform.
Token purchases are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your credit card number, full card details, or any other sensitive payment information. We receive from Stripe a session identifier and a confirmation of payment completion, which we use to credit tokens to your account. Please review Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how Stripe handles your payment data.
We may collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited within the Service, and timestamps of activity. This information is used to maintain security, diagnose issues, and improve the Service.

Certain information is visible to other users or to the public by design. This includes your username, profile bio, creator category, Heat Score, connected platform names (but not tokens), badge collection, and market activity (bets and markets you participate in as a Market Maker). Do not include sensitive personal information in fields that are publicly visible.
We retain your account information and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or fraud-prevention purposes. Token transaction records may be retained in anonymized form for financial record-keeping.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), row-level security policies on our database, and access controls that restrict which operations can be performed by authenticated users versus our internal service layer. OAuth tokens for connected platforms are stored server-side and are never exposed to other users or transmitted to your browser. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at privacy@noraplatforms.com and we will take prompt steps to delete it.

NORA Platforms is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated.
